This is a substitute position - on an on call / as needed basis. We are looking for local credentialed teachers who are interested in working on call as a substitute teacher for La Honda Pescadero Unified School District (San Mateo County). Please be aware that LHPUSD Schools are located in Northern California approx. 45 miles South of San Francisco and 35 miles North of Santa Cruz.Our schools: La Honda Elementary is Pre K-5th, Pescadero Elementary is also Pre K-5th grade, Pescadero Middle School is 6th-8th, and Pescadero High School is 9th-12th grades.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
